Home Health A Full Body Cleanse to Remove Internal and Naturally Occurring Toxins

In a previous article we discussed some of the sources of external toxins and ways to reduce our exposure to them. In this article we will look at the two other categories of toxins, which are internal sources of toxins and naturally occurring toxins in the body, both of which contribute to the amount of toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis. After reading through this listyou will understand why a full body cleanse is so important.

Types of internal sources of toxins:

1. Microorganisms

Our bodies are jam packed with microorganisms, some good and some bad. The bad ones can come in the form of viruses, parasites, and bacteria. Some things we can do tolimit our exposure is to thoroughly wash our hands and our fresh fruits and vegetables.

2. Dental Work

Any type of dental work, from filling sand root canals to bridgework and dentures may contain toxins in the form of metals, acrylics, cements and resins. Although the utmost care is taken to ensure these toxins do not enter our system some potential leaching cannot be avoided. If you have any concern aboutyour dental work, especially any older dental work, consult your dentist for information about replacing potentially health-damaging materials with safer ones.

3. Medical Implants

All medical implants have the potentialof adding toxins into the body. Some common implants are joint replacements, pacemakers, and surgical aids such as screws and plates, as well as cosmetic surgery implants. Unfortunately with most implants there is not much that can be done in the way of limiting the potential toxins that will leach into your body other than performing a full body cleanse.

Types of naturally occurring toxins inthe body:

Naturally occurring toxins in ourbodies are the by-products of cellular metabolism and like all toxinsif they are not eliminated properly they may build-up and causehealth problems. Some of the naturally occurring toxins are asfollows:

1. Bilirubin

Usually eliminated from the body through stool, bilirubin is the by-product of red-blood cells being broken down by the liver. If bilirubin is not eliminated properly it can cause jaundice. Adding fiber to your diet may help in regularity, which can assist in the elimination of excess bilirubin.

2. Urea

A condition known as uremia is caused by the increase of urea in the blood. Urea is created when the liver breaks down protein and amino acids and is usually eliminated by the kidneys in urine. Drinking plenty of water will help to flush thetoxins from your body on a regular basis.

3. Uric Acid

Uric acid that is not properly flushed from the system will eventually build up and form a condition known as gout. One of the best ways to prevent uric acid build-up is bylimiting the amount of organ meats that are consumed and by drinking plenty of water.

4. Creatinine

A by-product of muscle metabolism, creatinine is removed from our bodies by the kidneys. A kidney cleanse will ensure the kidneys are performing well, however for regular maintenance consuming appropriate amounts of water will ensure the creatinine is flushed from your system on a daily basis.

There are many more internal and naturally occurring toxins than have been listed here in this article. The examples given here are to give you an idea on the sheer amount of toxins that we are exposed to everyday. When the build-up of these toxins becomes excessive to the point where our bodies can no longer handle our health will begin to deteriorate. This is why maintaining a healthy lifestyle, which includes eating well, exercising and performing a regular full body cleanse is so important.
